In Lyon, the renowned jewelry house Van Cleef & Arpels recently unveiled its inspiring initiative called “De Mains en Mains”. The aim of this company is to inspire enthusiasm in future generations by revealing the fascinating behind-the-scenes of the jewelry industry.
The flagship event of this initiative is an immersive exhibition that sheds light on the key jewelry professions. From gem experts to artisan polishers, from setters to 3D designers and draftsmen, this exhibition offers a unique insight into the craftsmanship that makes Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry shine. It will be held from November 25 to December 3, 2023 in Lyon.
The “De Mains en Mains” initiative was born from Van Cleef & Arpels’ desire to help young people explore their professional future, particularly after the challenges posed by the first confinement. Marie-Aude Stocker, International Director of Human Resources at the Maison, is determined to show young people that the jewelry professions are within their reach and that they offer exciting prospects.
In addition to highlighting the jewelry professions, this event offers the opportunity to discover L'École des Arts Joailliers, a prestigious institution based in Paris. It will offer courses, conferences and creative workshops specially designed for young people aged 6 to 16, a unique opportunity to learn and be inspired.
Let's not forget the exceptional exhibition "Van Cleef & Arpels, meeting jewelry". This exhibition invites visitors to delve into the history and emblematic creations of the House, highlighting both historical pieces and contemporary creations.
Don't miss this unique opportunity which will take place at the InterContinental – Hotel Dieu, 20 quai Jules Courmont, Lyon, from November 25 to December 3, 2023.
