Van Cleef & Arpels announced the opening of two new manufacturing sites in Drôme and Puy-de-Dôme, which will create several hundred local jobs. In collaboration with the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, these two new workshops, located respectively near Romans-sur-Isère and Thiers, will each be able to accommodate at least 250 employees. The sites will be easily accessible from Lyon, Paris and Geneva, where the Maison is already established.

Van Cleef & Arpels has confirmed the creation of more than 600 direct jobs with the opening of these two new sites.
Van Cleef & Arpels ' choice to settle in Roman sur Isère was reinforced by the region's long tradition of manufacturing excellence, particularly in the leather, shoes and leather goods sectors.
Near Thiers, an emblematic basin for cutlery and metal crafts, buildings for training, production and services will also be built, as well as a “nursery” for new talents. The region welcomes the choice of Van Cleef & Arpels to establish a jewelry manufacturing unit in Romans-sur-Isère and a jewelry manufacturing unit near Thiers. The AURA region is thus the second French region in terms of number of jobs and businesses in jewelry and goldsmithing.
